Install in three steps
Open the DMG
Double-click WhisperWrite.dmg in your Downloads folder.
Drag to Applications
Drag the WhisperWrite icon onto the Applications folder, then open it from Applications.
Grant Microphone and Accessibility
Microphone lets WhisperWrite hear you. Accessibility lets it type into other apps. WhisperWrite walks you through both, then downloads its speech engine (about 610 MB) and optimizes it for your Mac. That takes a few minutes, once.
That's it. Once setup finishes, hold Right Option in any app and start talking.

Need help?
Text isn't appearing. Check that WhisperWrite is turned on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.
The pill shows no bars. Check Microphone access in the same place, and make sure the right input is selected.
